Pretty much everyone suffers from stress from time to time but even more so during the holiday season. We walk around with dozens of lists and we never have enough time to check everything off. On the outside, we all look like we are organized. But most of us have our brain on overload 24 hours a day and can’t seem to unwind. Try these tips to make your life less stressful:
Make Some Me Time for Yourself: Trying to relax is tough when you’re already stressed. Get a manicure or pedicure with nail art or splurge and get both!
Take a “Disconnect” Day: Channel your inner calm by turning off all your devices.
Take a soul day: Feed your creative spirit –take a class, go to a favorite place, or alk in nature.
Don’t Be a Doormat: You have the right to say NO.
Most Importantly Eat Healthy: When you’re stressed out, the first thing you want to do is eat all the “comfort” foods that make you happy. Own up to the things causing you stress instead of sweeping them under the rug.
