How to Keep Your Hair Color Fresher, Longer

Anyone that has ever been courageous enough to dye their hair has  experienced that moment when you think “There’s nothing worse than when you’re previously super-rich hair shade begins to fade after only a few days”. Well here are some tips to learn how you can  extend your head-turning hair color!

You can spend a pretty penny on the perfect shade for your hair. So you want to make sure you don’t wash all that color down the drain. What can you do to keep that color where it belongs?

Try to use products for colored hair from shampoo to conditioner that are formulated to work with your new hair color.
Try to cut down on using hot tools to avoid heat damage and let your hair rest after you dye it.

Try not to over wash your hair.  This will save your color and it’s better for your hair too.

Try to use cool water to wash and rinse your hair.

Try to use a swim cap if your are a frequent swimmer in chlorinated pools.

Try to use products with vitamins A, C, and E help protect your haircolor from fading in the sun.

Finally, deep condition your hair after you dye it to offset the damage from the process. It works every time
